Thank you, neighbors!

It takes a community to build a business. We want to thank the anonymous neighbors who tagged our windows with well wishes and lovely artwork, as we transition our product line to Vinaigrette's retail locations. Buzz on over to Vinaigrette the next time you need honey. Maybe we'll see you there!

Addendum....we caught the culprits! A very sweet ending....

Recipes - Cocoa Honey Cake & (while you're waiting) a Honey Facial

Finish this not-so-sweet cake with a drizzle of honey. Simply delicious!

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees;
grease an 8x8-inch pan.
Mix the following dry ingredients in a bowl:

1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

In a separate bowl, mix together:

1/3 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and mix well. Spread into the greased pan. Bake 20-25 minutes.

Serving suggestion: Top each serving with a drizzle of honey; try a flavor infused honey (i.e. Amaretto); sensational!

Optionally, top with whipped cream or ice cream

Honey Facial

Since the honey, eggs & Greek yogurt are already on the counter, grab a lemon and mix the following:

1 egg yolk (approx. 2 Tbsp.)
2 Tbsp. Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Blend well, and apply to the face. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

(Store leftovers in the fridge and give yourself another facial tomorrow!)
